All of ellabalou’s blankets are produced domestically and hand finished. They are machine washable and dryable. (This is huge for me! I have a daughter who is attached to a blanket that cannot be dried, it makes a clean blanket very hard to come by). They even say the blanket gets better with washing. Music to my ears.

*As a personal side note: I mentioned above that one of my girls is extremely attached to a blanket. They are $65 a piece and cannot be dried, this is difficult all by itself but add to that the texture and dye of each blanket varies enough that we have been through 5 of these blankets and only 2 are acceptable. When ellabalou’s blankets arrived at our house, Stella fell in love with them, the color and texture are the same as the day they got here (even with multiple washings) and slowly we have been working them into nap time and bedtime. We’re hoping soon she’ll have made a complete transition.
